Tom Ulrich, Idaho National Laboratory. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in planning, executing and leading projects as a group leader/principle scientist in private industry and at the INL. His areas of research include assessing the quality of biomass feedstock that is derived from genetically modified plants, and characterizing gene expression that impacts biomass productivity. As a molecular biologist, another of his areas of research includes developing biologically-based tracking platforms for national security applications.
