Steve Drown is Chair and Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture and is Co-PI of the University of Idaho Building Sustainable Communities Initiative.

He currently holds a joint appointment with University of Idaho Extension as an Education Extension
Specialist in Bioregional Planning and Landscape Architecture. His teaching focuses on design theory, studio, and senior seminar and landscape graphics. He also directs the Department of Landscape
Architecture’s Summer Program in Cremolino Italy. Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the Philadelphia College of Art, University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a Master of Landscape Architecture from SUNY College of Environmental
Science and Forestry and Syracuse University.
