Become an AmeriCorps Partner: Building Capacity with a National Service Program

Rachael Goetzelman is an AmerCorps Placement Program Coordinator at the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI). Each year, she is instrumental in placing 55 AmeriCorps members throughout Idaho with various non-profits, government agencies and schools where they provide over 36,000 hours of service to Idaho communities. In 2005, Rachael served as an AmeriCorps member with the McCall Outdoor Science School, a partnership between University of Idaho and PCEI. During her time as an AmeriCorps member, Rachael shared her passion for science and the environment with students throughout Idaho. Rachael is a graduate of the University of Dayton, Ohio, with a B.S. in Environmental Biology and Environmental Geology and a current graduate student at the University of Idaho’s College of Education. Rachael continues to commit to national service, environmental stewardship, and PCEI with her work with AmeriCorps-PCEI.
