Martin Bauer

Mr. Bauer is the current Administrator for Idaho’s Air Quality Division at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and has held that position since August 2003. He started working as an air quality engineer for the Department of Environmental Quality in Idaho in 1988 and held several positions as manager and bureau chief of the permitting section until, 1997. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Bauer worked for Micron Technology, Inc., a high tech semiconductor manufacturing industry, before returning to the state DEQ in 2003. Mr. Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming.
